What are those important tools? Each truck must have:
- Hand truck (hand Dollie) minimum of 2.
- Four-wheeler (Dollie) minimum of 3.
- Metal bars, minimum one set.
- Straps, depending on the size of the truck, minimum 2.
Hand trucks needed for movers to effectively handle your boxes. Moving companies charge by the hour, and there is no reason they won’t use hand trucks to speed the process up.
Hand trucks are most effective when moving large amounts of boxes. Usually, you can load from 4-6 boxes depending on the size of the box. Also, many movers use a hand truck to move smaller furniture items.
Four-wheeler or a simple Dollie is a great tool for moving sofas and bulky items. Most commonly used for pianos, safes and other heavy items. Dollie is a very important tool to have when moving inside of a condominium.
